according to when it was up on Play.com, it came with a super art book with all the concept art from the first three collectors editions, including extra artwork aswell, all the skill pins and shed loads of other stuff too

There is a difference between a typo and correct spelling, and in American English, it's just a case of not being bothered to put a 'u' in.
/rant

Anyway, it looks like a pretty package, the 2Gigabyte memory stick nearly makes it worth it alone, and the skill pins, art work, the A0 map, which i hope is of Tyria, cantha and Elona, and the other stuff is pretty cool. I probably won't get it though, at 140 euro, it's just too much.

I dunno, that looks a little photoshopped to me... The reflections on the box just don't look.. right.

These things are always photoshopped. Even the legit ones. I doubt that at the time these pics came online, there was real prototype of the thing .

Anyways, if it contains the hardcover artbook (and maybe the 2 gig USB key), I'm getting this baby.

Unless you decided to pay for your copy of Guild Wars Ultimate Edition by check. We would use a cheque

Another one that comes to mind is center, which we spell centre. I know there are plenty of others too. Sadly I once read the English and the US edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone side by side, and you would be amazed at the subtle differences in the language.

Anyway, back on topic - Guild Wars Legacy (or Ultimate) Edition was advertised on all the major games sites, including Amazon, Play, Game etc. a few months back, but then suddenly disappeared! I guess they had production problems. I certainly want to buy this if and when it ever comes out.

In that case, you could add to your list:

GW RL goods: Miniatures, T-shirts, etc.. I think is a good idea but it would only affect US and European players (due to distribution dificulties)

More account upgrades: like having more storage, hair stylist, unlocking skills, improved henchies,...you name it.

Why not make a official thread asking the players what they want and they're are bound to pay (or not) for it.

Thx for the attention

It's just a funny typo
Not the only difference. There are numerous ones such as the use of "s" instead of "z" in many words.

Looks a bit CG to me, and with the spelling mistakes, doesn't look quite legit.

all European versions, be they special or not, have the lettering and packaging text in the language of the country they were released in. This is due to the fact that there is a regional distributor in each country. If that was an Italian product, it would have Italian words on it, not English ones. Aside from the typo (ascension has no alternative spelling, not even in Italian) the package is missing the logos of Anet, NCSoft and the rating board.

Even from a marketing perspective such a package would be an odd choice to say the least. Wouldn't you want to draw new customers in by nicely bundeling Prophecies and GW:EN instead of going for an insanely price mega special edition? No, someone is just trying to have fun at our costs and the Italian retailer most likely thought to play it safe and accept preorders.

If this is true, is there a "light" version of this package for people who already own all 3 collectors editions and don't feel like spending another 140€ for the few extra's they don't already have? (the skill pins and miniature for example)
Or will we be out of luck? (or out of money )

I would figure that it would most likey have its own Unqine type of CE thing that it comes with, mabey something as hot as the divine aura. Well have to wait and see from Gaile if its real or not.

I second that. I'd rather not buy a game I already have just for the artbook.
